Cody was involved in a tangle during the heat race that had him looking at the sky instead of the track. After the crew repaired the damage and put on a new wing it was consi time. Cody was leading the consi after starting 7th. Unfortunately, Cody was unable to finish after a steering arm broke and left the #89 stranded. The crew looked at the part and determined it was likely a victim of the earlier crash damage in the heat. |
